Timothy “Zag” Sager, 52, of Denver and formerly from Reinbeck, Iowa passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at his residence in Denver.
Timothy Howard Sager was born on March 1, 1966, the son of Verlyn Gene and Jana Lee (Donaldson) Sager in Grundy Center, Iowa. He was baptized at the Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck in 1969. He attended Reinbeck Elementary & Junior High School and graduated from Denver High School in 1984. Tim was employed at Omega Cabinets for 17 years and John Deere for 17 years. On February 12, 2009, he was united in marriage to LaDonna Regan in Waverly, Iowa.
He loved his dogs, going hunting and fishing. Tim enjoyed Dean Martin music, Piano Man and the Minnesota Vikings.
Survivors are his wife, LaDonna Sager; father, Verlyn Sager and his wife, Sharon; mother, Jana Lee Flanscha and her husband, Harold; three sisters, Janalyn (Rick) Harris, Sue (Jeff) Frericks, and Jill (Scott) Borchardt; brother, Wiatt (Megan) Olson and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and Aunts and an Uncle.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Denver American Legion, 161 E. Main Street in Denver, Iowa from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
