Timothy LeBahn, 58, of Cedar Falls, Iowa passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Timothy M. LeBahn was born on December 27, 1958, the son of Donald F. and Beulah M. (Garrison) LeBahn in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from New Hartford High School in 1977. On August 25, 1978, he was united in marriage to Denise Payne at the New Hartford United Methodist Church. Tim was employed at Mead Lumber Company in New Hartford, Brent Manufacturing, Iowa Sports Supply in for Cedar Falls for 25 years. In 2008, he started with the City of Cedar Falls in the Street Department until the time of his death.
He was a member of the New Hartford United Methodist Church, and previously member of the New Hartford Jaycees and the New Hartford volunteer Fire Department. Tim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, farming, working with cattle, hunting, fishing, doing yard work and tinkering on old cars, especially his Monte Carlo. However, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife, Denise LeBahn of Cedar Falls, Iowa; son, Cody (Katie) LeBahn of Cedar Falls, Iowa; daughter, Trista (Shane) Metz of Stout, Iowa; six grandchildren, Madi, Gabe and Jace Metz and Lindsey, Ellie and Ruby LeBahn; sister, Shirley Johnson of Dike, Iowa; and three brothers, Arthur (Lois) LeBahn of Madisonville, Kentucky, Bo (Jan) LeBahn of Montezuma, Iowa; David (Carolyn) LeBahn of New Hartford, Iowa and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Maxine Rae LeBahn and Nellie Bishop; brother Donald Jr.; great nephew, Tate and brother-in-law, Rich Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:30 am at the New Hartford United Methodist Church in New Hartford, Iowa with Pastor Jerry Avise-Rouse officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill cemetery in New Hartford, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the New Hartford United Methodist Church in New Hartford.
