Dennis “Jack” Albright, 74, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa.
Jack was born on April 6, 1944, in Waverly, Iowa, the son of Corrinne M. (Kennedy) and Harold W. Albright. He attended school in Waterloo and graduated from West High School in 1963. Following graduation, Jack went to work for John Deere P.E.C. in Waterloo. He held several positions over the years, with his final being an electronics technician. He retired after 31 years of service.
Jack enjoyed radio-controlled airplanes. He also liked Ham Radio and obtained his Amateur Radio License at the age of 13.
Jack is survived by his brother, David Albright of Waterloo, Iowa; his sister, Janice (Richard) Cole of Bradenton, Florida; seven nephews, Randal (Laurie) Albright of Janesville, Steven (Cindy) Albright of Sully, Joseph (Kim) Albright of Oskaloosa, Mark (Beth) Albright of Ankeny, Kurt Albright of Cedar Falls, Christopher (Melanie) Cole of Pensacola, Florida and Andrew (Leah) Cole of Tampa, Florida; and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gerald Lee “Jerry” Albright.
There will be a private family funeral service followed by a private burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
