Caskets
 The literal definition of a casket is a "Jewel Box". The value of the jewel box in no way reflects the value of the jewel. The casket, again, is simply a tool which enables the appropriate and dignified handling of the body when there is to be a visitation, funeral and/or graveside service and burial.
Caskets are made out of metal including steel, stainless steel, copper and bronze, and most every species of woods. Caskets are also made out of basic materials like fiberboard and cardboard.
Remember..caskets are simply tools...very special tools, but tools.
 Burial Vaults
Burial Vaults are made out of concrete and utilize an interior liner that protects the contents of the vault from graveside elements. These interior liners are made out of impervious materials like plastics and even precious metals, stainess steel, copper and bronze.
